Back in September, I had the extreme honor of being featured on one of my favorite wedding blogs, Green Wedding Shoes. You can view the feature here: http://greenweddingshoes.com/boho-feather-wedding-inspiration/.
I flew out to San Diego to shoot along with some of my very best photography friends. It has taken me forever to blog my images, but I wanted to share with you the styled shoot of “Willow+Hunter’s Wedding” from my point of view. I cannot say enough about the vendors involved in this shoot. They did some amazing work. It is shoots like these that revive and refresh me when I am feeling a little photo-exhausted. I am so thankful to have worked with such an amazing group of people that day.

The inspiration for the shoot was boho/Pocahantus bride marries John Smith, complete with feather details and some of the most amazing flowers and handmade jewelry I have ever seen. Our models names for the day were “Willow and Hunter” and you will see feather details galore. Enjoy the images!
How perfect are these feather themed invitations? The color choices were so right on.
I cannot tell a lie – I may or may not have eaten one of those little tiny desserts after we shot them. Oops! I LOVED the feather cake.
Anna was the perfect “Willow.” I am pretty obsessed with her gorgeousness.
Bethany of Splendid Sentiments was nothing short of amazing that day. The detail in her floral is just above and beyond perfect. I could have shot all of her floral details all day long. Thank you Bethany for being so ever amazing!
Couture events made the whole concept come together absolutely perfectly.
Feather accented name cards – love.
The alter – complete with a heart shaped wreath. Perfect for the I-do’s.
Again – Bethany – the floral details were to die for at every scene of the day!
Willow and Hunter were set to depart on a perfect blue canoe, complete with a his and hers feather marker.
Anna is rocking some gorgeous handmade jewelry by Glamerella Junk. I am glad I don’t live closer – I would buy way too many of these pieces.
Where else would Willow and Hunter honeymoon? In a teepee of course!
Oh, hey Anna… you were the PERFECT Willow. Our gorgeous Pocahontus bride.
Thank you again to the amazing vendors and to Green Wedding Shoes for the awesome feature. XOOX – Whitney
