There just aren’t enough words to express how incredible I think this girl is …. Sweet Sydnie got married this past Saturday and I can finally share her bridals that we shot last month in Palm Springs. Her Galia Lahav Couture gown was just more than dreams could even imagine – and it perfectly suited her. I have known Sydnie and her amazing family for a very very long time and I love her and her parents so much. She met her prince and married him in an amazing ceremony at the airport in Conway, Arkansas.
I was so honored that they asked me to shoot her bridals AND that we were able to take a special trip to make them extra beautiful. Syd’s wedding was very desert inspired, so it only seemed right that we would shoot her bridals in one of my favorite deserts – Joshua Tree National Park. We had an incredible trip with some amazing girls, making memories that would last a lifetime.
A special thank you goes to the Ross’ for a wonderful trip to the desert AND to the incredible girls that came along and all lended a hand to make this shoot amazing. Jessica Zimmerman made sure it all came together with incredible floral, Carrie Parsons was there to create the most perfect hair, and I had about ten other photo assistants that I couldn’t have lived without.
These are a few of my favorites from the bridal gown portion of the shoot – later today I will blog the more fashion inspired portion featuring the jumpsuit Syd wore as she exited her wedding. Enjoy!
Oh, Joshua Tree… I love you so. I will never forget our time in the desert. We had the best group of girls and it makes my heart swell to think about us all coming together because we love this sweet soul so much. She is beautiful, kind, smart and now she is a WIFEY. I cannot believe it!
I have to include one behind the scenes image, just because it made me so incredible happy to see everyone together for Syd. There are a few missing – they were helping take this pic – but even though we all look like a crazy mess, I love what it represents. We all had our little jobs – I have no idea why I am holding up the fanny pack. . . it just felt right, ok?
Oh, and a pic with her mamma. There is just nothing like the relationship this kiddo shares with her parents.
